MainStreaming has been chosen for the Microsoft for ScaleUp Program

Milan, Italy – MainStreaming, the streaming service provider that enables broadcasters, media and gaming companies to stream video with the best quality of experience to their audience, globally, was chosen by Microsoft to join its growth program for scale-ups.

The Microsoft for Startups program works with a selection of the best ScaleUp-stage companies globally to offer tools, technologies and support to these outstanding businesses. MainStreaming was selected as one of these companies, and is currently working alongside Microsoft as a Microsoft Partner to develop best in class video delivery solutions built in Microsoft’ Azure cloud services.

Inclusion in this program represents a continuation of sustained momentum for MainStreaming, which was recently inducted into the Ultra HD Forum Italia Society, and closed a successful funding round in 2019. With Microsoft, MainStreaming will be able to leverage the Azure cloud by integrating it alongside their proprietary video streaming technology and strengthen their offering that gives broadcasters and media companies the ability to stream video with the best quality of experience to audiences worldwide.

By joining the program, MainStreaming will also be able to integrate their technology into the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, which allows companies to access MainStreaming’s SaaS solutions and enables it to further build out its capabilities in Europe and around the world.

“At Microsoft, we enjoy working with businesses who are disrupting industries with exciting technology, which is why we’ve been so excited to have MainStreaming join our ScaleUp programme. We aim to foster growth and innovation for our partners in an ecosystem that offers the tools they need to succeed,” said Amali de Alwis, Managing Director at Microsoft for Startups UK.

“Being accepted into the program is a great result for us and we are extremely excited to be invited to join Microsoft’s program with the opportunities it opens up for us,” commented Antonio Corrado, CEO at MainStreaming. “We are looking forward to working with Microsoft and seeing how we can incorporate Azure into our solution and how we can integrate MainStreaming into the Microsoft ecosystem to enable broadcasters and media companies to continue offering their customers the best quality of experience.”
